It depends on the system. Membrane and polyurethane terrace treatments carry up to a 10-year written warranty; bathroom and wall treatments are typically 5 years. The exact period is written on your estimate before work begins — never verbal.
Per square foot of treated area, and the rate depends on the system used. We measure the area during the free inspection and give a fixed written estimate, so there is no surprise at the end.
A typical terrace of 1,000 sq ft takes 3–5 days including curing time. Bathrooms take 2–3 days. Basements take longer because grouting is done in stages. Curing time cannot be shortened — that is what makes the difference between a repair that lasts and one that fails next monsoon.
Inspection and injection grouting can be done in the rains, but coating and membrane work need a dry surface. We will tell you honestly if it is better to wait rather than take the job and have it fail.
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We first find why the earlier treatment failed — usually poor surface preparation or a missed entry point — then remove the failed layer and treat it properly.
