Parking, driveways, footpaths, society roads and factory yards — supplied and laid with a properly compacted base, so the surface stays level for years.
The right thickness depends entirely on what will drive over it. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in paving — so we size it to the load, in writing.
Cars and two-wheelers. The most common job — looks clean, drains well, and can be lifted and relaid if a pipe needs work.
Foot traffic only. This is where colour and pattern matter most, since the whole area is seen at once.
Regular light vehicle movement. Laid with proper edge restraints so the field does not spread over time.
Loaded trucks and forklifts. Needs a compacted base and the heaviest block — this is where cheap laying fails fastest.

Block grade and thickness are the two things that decide how long paving lasts — and the two things most quotations leave vague. Ours don't.
60 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm — chosen by the load the surface will carry, not by budget.
M-30 to M-40 grade blocks. We share the grade in writing so you know what you are paying for.
Grey, red, black, yellow and mixed shades. Colour runs through the top layer, so it does not wear off.
Blocks, sand, edge restraints and labour — one rate, one team, one point of responsibility.
Anyone can place blocks on sand. What keeps a surface level for ten years is the compacted base underneath and the edge restraint around it.
We measure the area in sq ft, ask what will drive on it, and give a written per-sq-ft rate covering blocks, sand and laying.
Soil cut to depth, then a compacted base of GSB or crusher dust. This layer decides whether the surface stays level in five years.
A screeded sand layer of even thickness. Uneven bedding is the single biggest cause of sunken patches later.
Blocks laid to the chosen pattern with edge kerbs on all open sides, so the field cannot spread apart under load.
Plate compactor run over the surface, then fine sand swept into the joints — this is what makes the blocks lock together.
It depends on the thickness, the block shape and whether you want only supply or supply plus laying. 60 mm parking work costs less than 100 mm factory work because both the block and the base are different. We measure your area and give a fixed written rate — no per-visit changes.
Match it to the load, not the budget. 60 mm for cars and foot traffic, 80 mm for society roads with regular light vehicles, 100 mm for trucks and forklifts. Using 60 mm where 100 mm was needed is the most common reason paving cracks within a year.
A typical 1,000 sq ft home parking takes 3–4 days including excavation, base compaction and laying. Larger yards run longer because the base has to be compacted in layers — that part cannot be rushed.
That is the real advantage of interlocking blocks over concrete. Individual blocks can be lifted, the base corrected and the same blocks relaid — no breaking, no patch marks. If a pipe or cable needs work later, the surface is opened and closed without any sign of it.
Yes, but only after the old surface is removed and a proper base is built. Laying blocks straight onto old broken concrete or loose soil will look fine for a season and then settle unevenly.
